Introducing the brand new Mr. & Mrs. Lynch!
A little over three years ago, I met Whitney! She's always loved helping her friends coordinate their weddings down to the last detail! Hair, makeup, setting up decorations- you name it- she's helped with it ALL, so it was especially fun to watch her as she planned her own! Kelleytown Baptist Church was a beautiful ceremony site and Prestwood Country Club was a gorgeous location for her and Matt's reception! I love the shots we got at both locations, but I think some of them on the water were my favorite!
Their wedding day consisted of 5 wedding cakes (all of which were different flavors!), 4 "first looks", Whitney had 2 wedding dresses (one for the ceremony and one for the reception) AND a chocolate fountain! To say Matt & Whitney were prepared for an incredibly fun, memorable day is an understatement!
Their wedding day started with a few special first looks: Whitney & her father, Whitney & her brother and Whitney & Matt! Matt also got to have a first look at his little niece, Riley (who was no stranger to the camera ;) might I add). The groom got a big surprise when he was expecting to turn around and see his beautiful bride in her wedding gown, but was immediately greeted by his future father-in-law instead! I love when couples can throw some humor into their day! It definitely makes for some unforgettable moments!
Once everyone was ready, we headed over to the church to watch them exchange vows! One of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer is hearing the unique sermon and perspective of the officiant. It always serves as a sweet reminder to both the couple, as well as the congregation, what a precious gift love is and the sanctity marriage holds!
I'm fully convinced you'll never see bigger smiles on the bride & groom than the moments immediately following them becoming husband & wife!
Matt & Whitney met when they were still both in their early teens, but didn't start dating until 3 year ago! In those 3 short years, Whitney has graduated nursing school, she and Matt have purchased their first home together and now they are celebrating their union! I can't wait to see what milestones the future holds for them!
Congratulations, Whitney & Matt! I pray that God blesses your marriage with a lifetime of love, friendship and happiness!
